Dales Pony
| Origins: | Northern counties of England. Was used for transporting lead ore from mines to the smelt mills, as well as being used for various tasks around the farm. |
| Breed Characteristics: | A strong, muscular pony with plenty of bone. A neat head set on a short thick neck. Luxurious mane and tale and feathering on the lower leg. |
| Temperament: | Very good temperament. |
| Colours: | Black, dark brown or bay |
| Size: | Up to 14.2hh |
| Uses: | Excellent for riding or driving. Often used for trekking holidays. |
