Origins:	France, living in semi-wild herds on the swampy marshlands of the Rhone delta. Used for working the bulls of that area.
Breed Characteristics:	A tough, hardy breed that live in a harsh environment. A heavy, powerful build, yet an agile horse. An upright should that gives a high stepping walk. Large, heavy head with very short neck.
Temperament:	Warm blooded. A bold horse with a good temperament.
Colours:	Grey
Size:	Up to 14hh
Uses:	Excellent trekking/pack ponies
