Origins: Originating in the Western Asia, the Arab horse is one of the oldest pure breeds in the world.
Breed Characteristics: A beautiful horse with a refinement that belies its strength and endurance capabilities. Small and refined head with a dished profile, tapering to a small muzzle with very large nostrils. Large expressive eyes. Small alert ears. Arched neck that is muscular and elegant.
Temperament: Hot Blooded. High spirited with stamina and endurance.
Colours: Grey, Bay or Chestnut
Size: 15 hh
Uses: "The Versatile Arabian" is a slogan of the breed. An excellent light, balanced riding horse. Also used for horse racing
