Welsh Mountain Pony
| Origins: | Wales. The oldest recorded native British pony breed. |
| Breed Characteristics: | A pretty Arab-like head with kind eyes and small, alert ears. A well arched neck of good length. Short strong back and fine legs. |
| Temperament: | Very good, calm temperament |
| Colours: | Often grey, can be any colour except piebald or skewbald. |
| Size: | Up to 12 hh |
| Uses: | Very good riding ponies, excellent as children's pony. Also good for driving. |
